As someone with a large following on social media, I receive countless requests from non-Black-owned businesses to promote their brands on my platforms for compensation. And while that doesn't sound like something to complain about, my frustration came from their audacity to verbalize their admiration for my content, all while pushing products that contradicted my platform's message of Black empowerment, liberation, and internal community building. 

I searched for a platform that could help me as an influencer get paid for my content through brand deals and collaborations that actually align with my dedication to supporting Black-owned businesses, but I couldn't find even one. 

So I decided to create it myself.
